A new partnership begins! We’re thrilled to announce the San Francisco Ferry Building as our new venue host sponsor for Rethink The Runway’s 2026–2027 event season.
Since 1898, the Ferry Building has been an iconic landmark and hub for commerce, community, and transit for the San Francisco Bay Area. Today, the Ferry Building is home to the vibrant Ferry Building Marketplace and hosts a wide variety of programming and events all year-round. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, and we are honored to partner with the Ferry Building and Hudson Pacific Properties to bring this new series of circular fashion events to the SF Bay Area community.

We’re kicking off this partnership with Switch & Stitch🪡, a Clothing Swap and Mending Counter event by Rethink The Runway.
Switch & Stitch will take place in the beautiful Grand Hall of the Ferry Building (2nd floor) on Wednesday, August 12th from 5:30-8:30pm.
Join us for a night of circular fashion with:
A Curated Clothing Swap Market with expert stylists Kara Fabella and Naomi Ha to help you style your look. All left over clothing will benefit St Anthony’s Free Clothing Program.
Garment Mending Counter with 6 expert menders to revive, patch, and repair a favorite garment in need, with supplies from returning partner Kimonomomo.
*Service is subject to availability. The Atelier Pass (VIP) is the only pass with a guaranteed mending slot. (see Ticket types on Luma)DIY Fashion & Upcycle Counter. Bring your own garments to patch, mend or upcycle in our drop-in creative zone run by expert menders. Supplies provided by returning partner FabMo.
